This layout was a joyful challenge that allowed me to blend my love for food with visual storytelling. Tasked with creating an engaging spread for Rooi Rose, I focused on building a smooth and intuitive reading flow that mirrors the sensory experience of enjoying a well-composed meal.
To guide the viewer through this culinary narrative, I implemented a strong visual hierarchy — balancing generous whitespace with a clean, legible type system, and organizing content in a way that feels both structured and organic. Strategic image placement ensured that the vibrant food photography remained the hero, supported by minimal yet informative copy.
This was my first assignment with the Rooi Rose team, offering valuable insight into working within brand guidelines while still contributing fresh design energy. The result is a layout that feels both editorially polished and appetizingly alive.
